This Chicago quartet, Sweatshirt Weather have come out with a new EP and a video for their track "Sleepy Eyes".
Translations EP is a compilation of new songs that they wrote but also a few acoustic versions of tracks from their 2011 EP Getting By ("Be Someone" and "Midwestern Love").
These guys sound like Allstar Weekend or Relient K with their pop rock style and youthful lyrics.
I am surprised that teenage girls do not have their posters plastered on their walls yet! This EP will hopefully get them recognized in the scene and grow in popularity.

Underoath's Final Set LIVE
DO NOT FRET! There is a video of their final performance in full out right now!
Though Underoath may be over some of these guys are still going to be involved in the music world.
Frontman, Spencer Chamberlain says that he has been working on songs and such but has not gone into much detail.
Guitarist, Tim McTague had already been working with two other guys (Nathan Young and Reed Murray) to form the band, Carrollhood. They will be releasing an album on the 11th of this month.
So Underoath may be over but we can all still relish in their glory with old records, new projects, and this live video.

The Ghost Inside "Get What You Give" Video
The Ghost Inside has just released a video for their song "Get What You Give", the title track from their 2012 album with Epitaph Records. They recorded it all while they were on the AP Tour this past fall.
The video was really jumpy and made me dizzy. Every scene is about 2 seconds long and it feels like you have vertigo or something!
Probably the best parts of the video are of the crowd where kids are climbing on top of each other and screaming the lyrics back at the frontman.
I would give this video a slow score especially compared with the latest videos done by Bring Me the Horizon, Oh, Sleeper, and Underoath.

Frightened Rabbit "Today's Cross" Video
The Scottish quintet, Frightened Rabbit just released their latest record Pedestrian Verse with Atlantic Records.
The band created a video for their single "Today's Cross" featuring a Jesus-esq main character.
According to Paste Magazine, "The video shows a day in the life of a modern day messianic figure fighting off (pardon the pun) excruciating boredom as he attempts to finish writing The New New Testament before his publisher's due date."
I do not think the band is attempting to make a religious statement, they just had a silly idea and ran with it! And it turned out to be a pretty entertaining video.
To purchase their album in LP, CD, or digital check out their website.
FR will also be on tour in the UK and the USA throughout late winter into spring, dates and tickets are available now.
