The Almost's frontman and solo artist Aaron Gillespie did his first acoustic session with Ryan Russel's label Nervous Energies.
NE is a "record label and web based video series with bands performing acoustic/alternative versions of their songs", according to their Facebook.
Gillespie has three tracks on the site: "I'm Down", "Hand Grenade", and a cover of Underoath's hit song "Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape".
The songs sound great! He has an incredible voice for sure.
My only critique is the videography, I feel like his jacket is more in focus than his face.
NE has other videos with Bayside, The Rocket Summer, and Jon Foreman (Switchfoot) which you can see them all at their YouTube channel.
