Top 10 Albums of 2013 Part II

I really am not really good at keeping up this blog, it's quite sad. But here is the second installment of the best albums of this year!

The Bones of What You Believe by Chvrches

Scottish synthpop band Chvrches has been taking the world by storm with this first full length. I first heard their single "Recover" in the spring and fell in love! This is not the type of music I usually enjoy so when something like this on my top of anything list, that means it must be special.  Tracks like "Lungs" and "Lies" have fun danceable beats with grade A lyrics. I cannot get enough of this album.
Check it here.

Modern Vampires of the City by Vampire Weekend
Being a pretty big Vampire Weekend fan, you could say I was pretty stoked for this record to be released. Their single "Diane Young" was my summer song, I swear I listened to it multiple times a day. Though the album was a bit more relaxed than their past two albums it had deeper lyrics which showed the band's increased maturity. No more oxford commas or drinking horchata! Songs like "Unbelievers" and "Everlasting Arms" are two that certainly stand out on this CD.
Album here.

You're Always on My Mind by A Great Big Pile of Leaves
I heard this band because they are going to be touring with The World Is and Into It. Over It. and they rule! If you have a chance to check them out on the tour do it (dates). I love the fun upbeat sound along with droning, dull vocals that somehow come together to create quality. "Snack Time" and "Ambiversion" are good tracks.
Listen.

Shangri La by Jake Bugg

I have been a fan of Jake Bugg's since 2012 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. After hearing his self titled album I was nervous about hearing how this was going to sound. The moment I clicked on the first track "There's a Beast and We All Feed It" I was beaming. This kid has some serious chops especially for only being 19. His songs have a folksy country vibe which is unique in modern British music. He's so British, I absolutely love it.

Is Survived By by Touché Amoré

For me personally this has been the year of Touché Amoré. I fell in love with their sophomore album Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me and am now having an affair with Is Survived By. Jeremy Bolm has created perfect poetic lyrics along side brutal vocals and a kick ass band.  Songs that stand out are the title track, "Just Exist", "DNA", "Anyone / Anything" and "Harbor". That's a lot but this album is just so good I cannot just pick two!
Music.

School is starting soon so hopefully I'll be able to still post in my free time. I will hopefully be up to date on new bands that I've been listening to and shows that I attend. Fingers crossed. Have a good 2014 all and hold onto your last moments of 2013!

10 Top Albums of 2013 Part 1

Hey world I am INCREDIBLY sorry that I have not posted since October (that's quite embarrassing when you're trying to run a half decent blog). But to make up for my absence I will be counting down my favorite albums of 2013. They may not be yours but they are the ones that stuck out to me this year.

These are also in no particular order because I couldn't make up my mind what I liked best.

The 1975 by The 1975

This album was shown to me by a friend and it blew me away. I immediately fell in love with their upbeat pop rock and Matt Healy's Manchester accent. Songs like "Girls", "Chocolate" and "Settle Down" were on repeat for at least a month straight.
Check out the album here on Spotify.

Whatever, if Ever by The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die

This summer I got the pleasure of getting to see The World Is perform in my own hometown and interview their guitarist, Greg Horable (check it here). Their indie post-rock was my album of the summer (along with Saintseneca's Last from 2011). With killer tracks like "Heartbeat in the Brain" and "Fightboat", it is a perfect pick me up when you're feeling blue.
Listen here.

What You Don't See by The Story So Far

The Story So Far graced the cover of Alternative Press in the spring which sparked my own curiosity of the band. I listened to What You Don't See and fell in love. I went into geek mode and went out and bought the physical at Hot Topic. Possibly one of the best purchases I made this year. This album is quality, filled with personal lyrics and gravely vocals. My favorite track is "Small Talk"; I used to scream the line "I'll bite back with broken teeth" at the top of my lungs while driving.
Album is listenable here.

Save Rock 'n' Roll by Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy took the world by storm this year after being on hiatus for 9 years. They announced that they were back with a new record and instantly they blew up like never before! It sounds nothing like their older music which is good. They have more hip hop style songs and even very radio friendly tracks like "Young Volcanoes" and "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark".
I got to see these guys like with Panic! at the Disco this fall and it was awesome. My middle school self rejoiced and can now be forever put to rest.
Listen here.

The Things We Think We're Missing by Balance and Composure

Almost everybody that I know who has good music taste adored this record! I had never really listened to Balance and Composure before this album and I now regret it. This record is on point with stellar tracks "Parachutes", "Back of Your Head" and my friend's favorite "Tiny Raindrop".  With powerful instrumental and frontman, Jon Simmons's droning voice carries you through love and sorrow.
Check it here.

This is just part one!! I will have part two up by this weekend and I will link it here once it is complete.

What're your thoughts on part 1? Am I totally wrong on any of these? TELL ME!

Close Your Eyes stream new album

Close Your Eyes is streaming their sophomore album Line in the Sand on AltPress.

The album comes out on October 29. Pre orders here!

The 1975 "Girls" video

The 1975 has taken the world by storm with their British rock that combines the best parts of pop and R&B to create the best thing since flavored water.

They have released their fourth video from their self-titled album, "Girls".

This song is so incredibly fun! It makes the listener press "repeat" and dance in their room for hours. It has honestly been in my head for the last three or four days.

Check out their VEVO page on YouTube for all of their videos.

Sleepwave official song release

Sleepwave, Spencer Chamberlain's new band, has released their first track to the public called "Rock and Roll is Dead and So Am I".

It is streaming through Alternative Press and also links to a free download of the song.

Being a long time fan of Underoath and Spenc, I fully support him in his new band! I dig the song, it is not Underoath which is good. It is hard rock which is the music realm is definitely lacking in quality hard rock.

Sleepwave has also put up a short list of venues that they will be hitting up this November.

They will be at:

State Theater- St. Petersburg, FL November 16
Masquerade-Purgatory- Atlanta, GA November 17
Santos Party House- New York, NY November 20
North Star Bar- Philadelphia, PA November 21

Worthwhile "Vagrant" video

California hardcore band, Worthwhile released a video for their song "Vagrant" off their album Carry On Kid through InVogue Records.

Check out the video here and their record here.

This black and white video is a collage of different scenes from their tour and even some stills thrown in which look really good. Whoever made the video did a great job with the overall way that it looks.

Touché Amoré "Harbor" video

One of my favorite bands right now, Touché Amoré has released a video for their single "Harbor" off their latest record Is Survived By.

The video is nothing amazing but it definitely looks cool!

I absolutely love this band, their music is of highest quality especially in a world where there is so much crap we're almost forced to listen to. Frontman, Jeremy Bolm writes harsh and brutally honest lyrics which accompanies their hardcore sound perfectly.

If you are not familiar with this band, change that for the goodness of your soul!

Panic! At the Disco stream new album

Panic! At the Disco is streaming their new album Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! on YouTube.

The album officially releases next week on October 8th through Fueled by Ramen.

So far I have listened through once and I am far from pumped to give it a second. I have been a fan on Panic! since middle school (I'm currently in university) and I have never been bummed about their albums except for this one. It sounds nothing like the single "This is Gospel" and barely grasps the style of "Miss Jackson" so what I heard was a bit of surprise.

The album has incorporated electronic beats and pop synth which dances along with lyrics about casual sex and Brennan Urie's life as a bachelor in Las Vegas.

As I've stated before I'm not really into electronic kind of music and maybe this just doesn't jive well with my personal tastes.

I'll give it another listen but off just this I am far from into it.

Chvrches "The Bones of What You Believe" review

Scottish electro pop band, Chvrches (pronounced "churches") has come out with their first full length The Bones of What You Believe.

This album has everything that you could want from this genre: fun, catchy beats, the f word and lyrics that speak of the struggles of loving someone.

Each track is perfectly crafted with hook, line and sinker! The beats never spot or get old, the lyrics are fresh and as an overall piece each song works together to make a complete work.

Favorite tracks: "Recover" (I fell in love with this song in the spring), "Lungs", "Gun" and "Tether".

This review is terrible but I think it's because I know little to nothing about electro pop. This is a band that I am surprised that I love, it's the fact that they are so incredible that I can't deny their quality. I almost never listen to female vocalists, pop or anything with synths. So I have to say that Chvrches has won me over even though they had everything going against them in my typical interests.

I love this album so much I would say they deserve a 4.5/5.

Sleepwave

Remember Underoath? Remember their frontman, Spencer Chamberlain? Well he has a new band.

He is doing guitars, vocals and keyboards for Sleepwave, which has officially been on Facebook since April 21st. I feel like all of us are months behind.

They have a video on their website which will eventually be filled with merch, music and tour dates.

Way to go, Spenc! I am excited to hear this new project, I hope that it is brilliant!

letlive. "Younger" video

letlive. has released their second music video off their latest album The Blackest Beautiful. The song is called "Younger" and has a chant worthy chorus "only the good die young".

Personally I do not like this video at all.  As the video progresses I began to not like it more and more.

First off, I dislike it when people are blatantly bashing on a religious or ethnic group of people. In this they are clearly talking bad about Christians which bothers me.  I understand and respect that the people in this band do not believe in a higher power, that's fine. But disrespecting other people's beliefs is not the way to spread what you believe. Having an "evangelical Christian" being taken hostage and taunted is not the way to go about sharing one's thoughts.

Also the way that they portray the crowd as indecisive turkeys is a bit offensive. I see it as the band saying that people will follow anybody with a big mouth who puts themselves above everybody else. This most likely reflects how they view people who are religious. That all of them just go with the flow and really don't think about what they are hearing or mindlessly practicing.  Some people do not know about the faith they claim to follow but certainly not everybody.

Finally the entire part from when he pulls out the gun to the holding people hostage is the farthest thing from okay! Especially after the mall shooting Nairobi happening this week, I do not find this appropriate at all. Even though it is fake and they clearly show that it is a squirt gun, it's the principle of the matter. Who ever thought that kidnapping people would be funny or cool?

I am typically pretty neutral about letlive. and their music but this really makes me lose respect for them as a band. I do not plan on supporting them from here on out because of this video.

Wolves at the Gate cover Thursday

Solid State Records band Wolves at the Gate have just released their Back to School EP which consists of covers of classic songs by classic bands like Blindside and Thrice.

Here is the link to their cover of Thursday's "Understanding a Car Crash".

In my own opinion, the cover is fine, I like that it's a bit harder than the original. Thursday is quality, nobody can say they aren't and WATG is still a growing band but they do the song justice.

I was never into covers, I would rather listen to an original song any day. I am glad that WATG but some new material out though, it has been over a year since the release of their full length Captors so it's good that they are putting something out there.

Brennan Urie letter to his past self

Panic! At the Disco's frontman, Brennan Urie, we all know is quite the character. He is exuberant, over the top and just plain unique; everything you could want in a performer.

He was asked by Rock Sound (basically the British Alternative Press) to write a letter to his past self and it truly says a lot about him as a person and his thoughts on the media, his success and what his life has become today.

Check out the letter right here!

Panic!'s new album Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die will be coming out on October 8th. Pre orders are available also!

Keep your eye out for Mr. Urie on the cover of Alternative Press's October issue! Even though the newsstand price is an arm and a leg, check it out either way.

The Killers "Shot at the Night"

The ever popular Boston rock band, The Killers are coming out with a Best Of... album called Direct Hits which will be released on November 11th (just in time for Christmas).

Other than all of their classic hits like "Mr. Brightside" and "When We Were  Young", they will be having two new tracks.  They released "Shot at the Night" (the song below) and the other is called "Just Another Girl".

New Found Glory "Connect the Dots"

New Found Glory has a stream of their single from their upcoming album Kill It Live which will be available on October 8th. The video will be out soon! Check out their Facebook for pictures from the shoot!

I am liking the song, nothing ground breaking or anything like that though. It is just a typical NFG song complete with their pop punk roots.

For the record, I didn't even know that they were coming out with a new album. Personally, I am not dying to hear it like I am for Touche Amore's new album (which comes out in a couple weeks, YAY).

I am even less excited because it's a live record. Nobody even likes live records!! I would rather pay for tickets to see a band, transport to and from the venue and get a poster from the merch table than buy a live album.  They just ruin lives.

But don't let my negative view on this topic dissuade you from checking it out, I'm sure it will be on YouTube or Spotify eventually.

Also guys sorry I haven't posted in weeks and weeks and weeks. I have been super busy because I moved into a new city and life has just been insane. I will do my best to be more on top of things and stuff in the music world.

Frank Turner back injury

Frank Turner has canceled his upcoming tour dates in Belgium, Denmark and Switzerland because of a back injury.

He had begun to feel pain after he played Bonnaroo in June and the problem has grown to be a serious issue for the Scottish singer. He will be getting a spinal epidermal shot which will hopefully help him through his discomfort.

As far as Turner is concerned, he will still be able to play his future shows in the UK and USA.

For his full statement check out his website

Panic! At the Disco "This is Gospel" video

Panic! At the Disco has released their second song from their upcoming album Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!. The song is titled "This is Gospel" which sounds completely different from their previous song "MIss Jackson".

After viewing this video it made me glad to know that Panic! has not altered their sound to be like Fall Out Boy (which would have been tragic).  "This is Gospel" has the classic PATD alternative, rock and roll sound.

The video is also really awesome! Much better than the previous one. I love the concept, it looks great and it's very Brennan Urie.

I am incredibly excited for their new album to come out on October 8th.

Pre-orders  are available now!

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

Touché Amoré "Just Exist"

Touché Amoré has just released their first single off their upcoming September album Is Survived By.

Again the band comes at you with brutal vocals, sincere lyrics, pretty simple guitars and thudding drums.  If you're a fan of their last LP Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me then you won't be disappointed with this.

The album will be out on September 24, CD and LP pre-orders will be out soon while it is already online at iTunes for $7.99.

Underoath to re-release

Underoath will be re-releasing their first two original albums Act of Depression and Cries of the Past through Solid State Records.

Very cool stuff.

FOR KIDS WHO DON'T KNOW: Spencer was not the frontman during this time, it was Dallas Taylor. Just incase you wanted to buy it and ended up confused.

More info to come!

AbsolutePunk chat with Touche Amore

Touche Amore member Jeremy Bolm chatted with AbsolutePunk.net! For over an hour!

Check out the podcast here on SoundCloud.

They talk about the upcoming album Is Survived By, their label Deathwish and touring.

Panic! At the Disco "Miss Jackson"

Panic! At the Disco has released their single "Miss Jackson" off their upcoming album To Weird to Live, To Rare to Die with Fueled by Ramen.

I have been a fan of Panic! since their first album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out back in 2005 so this is quite different from any of their past work. Much more upbeat and poppy even compared with their single from their last album "The Ballad of Mona Lisa".

To me it sounds very similar to the work that Fall Out Boy just put out with Save Rock and Roll which makes sense with why they decided to tour with them.

I love Brennan Urie's jacket and new hairstyle, he has always been great in his music videos. But even with that I am not really feeling it. Maybe the song will grow on me but my first impression was a bit negative. Just the overall video itself maybe is what I'm not liking.

This will most likely get tons of radio play and the kids of modern America will say, "Hey, didn't they sing 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies'?" And people like us (you the reader and I who know a thing or two about Panic!) will yell in their faces "DOI".

Pre-orders are up and the album will be out on October 8th.

Worthwhile stream "Carry on Kid"

Californian natives, Worthwhile are streaming their new album Carry on Kid.

Check out the stream here!

I have listened to about half and I dig it.

Sounds like: The Story So Far and Touche Amore.

"Collapsible Lung" review

Relient K is about to release their ninth studio album, Collapsable Lung, and honestly probably their worst. If you have any background knowledge of the band's previous work there is a good chance you'll be disappointed.

The album starts off with one of their singles "Don't Blink" which is most likely the best track of the album. It's pop-rock sound introduces the listener to the growth (or decline) of the band over the last four years.

But then it only gets worse from here. "Boomerang" is supposed to be a summery, beach anthem that teenagers can dance to.  To me it's just annoying.

"Lost Boy"and "If I Could Take You Home" are both very juvenile overall. Everything is simple from the lyrics to the instrumental, nothing comparable with their past work.

Does it get any better by track four? NO WAY! Sure, it's okay to like ska music, we saw that in their Birds and the Bee Sides album but "Can't Complain" gives me something to complain about. I hate "feel good songs" in the first place and having Relient K say "you've gotta treat everyday like a holiday" makes me sad.

What happened to their creativity? Has their age or the hiatus drained them of their talent?

Don't even get me started with "PTL" aka part-time lover. My gosh, does Matty T really think that he's 23 instead of 33?

Like they asked back in 2008, "where do I go from here?"

Overall this album is juvenile, making music that sounds like they're much younger than they are. Even when they were in their 20s their music didn't sound like this. Yes, it was very silly but it was great. The lyrics are meaningless and certainly do not have the depth such as past songs like each track off of Forget and Not Slow Down. Also the sound has changed from rock to pop which is usually a bad thing. Sorry guys, I'm disappointed.

I've been a fan of Relient K for many years and I can say without a doubt this is their worst.

2 out of 5 stars, mates.

Paramore "Anklebiters" video and game

Paramore has been promoting their new self-titled album by releasing multiple videos and even a game!

Check out their super fun animated video for "Anklebiters" below.

As for the game, one has to sign up for their email list which can all be done through there website.

I am tired of stupid emails all the time and I really don't need Paramore updates added to me inbox.

But overall the video is cool and different, the art is fantastic.

Touche Amore announce new album

Touché Amoré  have announced their releasing a new album this fall through Deathwish Inc.

Above is the trailer which really does not reveal much about the album other than there will be music.

It will be released on September 24 and will contain 12 tracks.

Stream "Collapsable Lung"

Relient K has just released a stream of their new album Collapsable Lung through Pandora.

Check the link here!

I have not heard very good things about this album especially since Alternative Press gave it 2 1/2 stars.

After listening to tracks like "Don't Blink", "My Jam" featuring Owl City, "Lost Boy" and the title track, I cannot say that I am overly excited to hear the rest. I understand that it's been a few years since they've released any of their original work and that they don't want to make the same record again.

Just none of them resonate, they are empty tracks.  Nothing comparable to previous songs like "Death Bed""Be My Escape" and "Therapy".  And of course nobody can forget silly songs like "I'm in Love with the 80s", "Mood Rings" and "Five Iron Frenzy is Either Dead or Dying".

I haven't even listened to the full album yet and I've reviewed the whole thing!  But I will post a review this weekend so keep your eyes peeled.

If you still want to buy the album, preorders are up until the official release on July 2nd.

The World Is... "Whenever, If Ever" Review

The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die has just released their sophomore album Whenever, if Ever via Topshelf Records.

I just got into this band because they are coming to play in my city on their summer tour so I checked them out on Spotify.  I liked their first album Are Here to Help but the latest record has solidified my enjoyment for the band.

They have continued with their Explosions in the Sky-esq instrumentals but add in more agressive vocals than before ("Heartbeat in the Brain").  The vocals are no Nate Ruess by far but imperfect, rock n roll vox are what is popular.

In "Fightboat" they add in a fun trumpet intro and a techno, amusement park style synth making the track almost danceable.

Things slow down with finger plucking guitars, crescendos that build to nothing exciting and simple drumbeats ("Picture of a Tree that Doesn't Look Okay", "You Will Never Go to Space", "Ultimate Steve").  They are relaxing but keep the listener interested throughout the track.

I may sound like I'm being a bit harsh at times, but I mean well. This album is quite good and I have been listening to it all day, Girl Scouts honor.

3 1/2 out 5 stars.

New Norma Jean track

Where has metal band, Norma Jean been since their 2010 release Meridional? Couldn't tell ya, but I do know that they are back with a vengeance.

The Razor & Tie Records band has put out a single from their upcoming album Wrongdoers out August 6th.

It's called "If You Got It at Five, You Got It at Fifty", listen to it MetalSucks.net.

I was incredibly impressed especially since NJ scared the crap out of me when I was 16. I bought their album Oh God, the Aftermath and played it once because it was too hardcore for me. Haha, oh how the times have changed!

Pre-order bundles are now available.

letlive. stream "The Blackest Beautiful"

letlive. has released their new album The Blackest Beautiful to the YouTube world a few weeks before its official release on July 9th.

Check out the stream here!

Pre-orders are still available for all over the world.

The Almost stream new album

The Almost's new album Fear Inside Our Bones is out now and is available to stream via YouTube.

Check out the stream here and prepare your ear holes for bliss.

I loved their first album Southern Weather and Monster Monster did not live up to the greatness of that album.  I think that this album is what Almost fans have been waiting for.  Raw passion and rock n roll, which is what FIOB provides.

After listening I am most definitely going to buy this album!

New letlive. Video

The insanity that is letlive. has released a new video for their song "Banshee (Ghost Fame)" off their upcoming record The Blackest Beautiful which comes out July 19th.

Frontman, Jason Aalon Butler is insane! He's going mad in this video, I can't even imagine how crazy he is at a live show. I am guessing one word: brutal.

I watched one of their videos a year or so ago and wasn't digging it at all. But after enjoying this I am certainly willing to give them a second chance!

Pre-orders are up for the entire world!

Fit for a King "Hollow King"

Somehow I forgot about one of Solid State Records' latests Fit for a King.

The band was signed a few months ago and released their second album with SS, Creation / Destruction. This record includes brutal songs like "Warparth", "Skin and Bones", and the song for their most recent video "Hollow King (Sound of the End)".

I really like the song but it's super silly that the band members are all wearing black windbreakers. Is that like a fashion statement or do they just really like them?

Citizen "Roam the Room"

Citizen has released a free stream and download of their track "Roam the Room" off their upcoming album Youth.

Stream and download <--- right there.

The song is alright, but I like their other stuff a bit better. Hopefully Youth will come out great as a whole.

Youth will be out on June 11th and pre-orders are still up for grabs through Run For Cover Records.

New Politics Acoustic "Harlem"

New Politics are one of the best things to hit the United States since Doctor Who and the bagget.  This Copenhagen band is making serious strides to fame and from this video I can tell why.

NP did an acoustic version of their single "Harlem" from their sophomore album A Bad Girl in Harlem.  Check the video here and be prepared to have your mind blown!

The trio will be on the sold-out Fall Out Boy tour this summer, so if you have tickets, I'm jealous.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Allison Weiss "Making It Up" Video

I'll be honest, I don't like female singers. But I really like up and coming singer, Allison Weiss!

She had released a video for her single "Making It Up" off her album Say What You Mean via No Sleep Records.

This single is certainly one of the bests off the record but the video really tops it off.

Instead of it being about a boy or girl breaking up with her, it's her dog. It's a super fun idea!

My only complaint is that when she lays down on this bed (view photo above) she looks like this guy I work with. Which is odd.

Check the video here from Alternative Press and also check here to see her on tour this summer.

Relient K "Lost Boy"

Relient K has released another new track off their upcoming LP Collapsable Lung.

The song is called "Lost Boy" which is about being lost before finding someone. The video to go along with the lyrics is fun with a little boy and a dog running around.

On Alternative Press, frontman Matthew Thiessen talks about the writing of the album and how it is something totally different from what they're done before. Check it here!

The album is currently up for pre-order on iTunes for $7.99 which comes with a bonus track called "That's My Jam" featuring Owl City.

Friday, May 24, 2013

SWS "Best There Ever Was"

Sleeping With Sirens has released their third track from Feel called "Best There Ever Was" featuring Fronz.

I don't know who he is.

This song is has more screams than the other songs. So far I like "Low" then best, then this one, and lastly, "Alone" (it's that rapper that ruins it).

The album comes out on June 4th and pre-sale is still going strong!

Never Shout Never "Good Times"

Never Shout Never is streaming their latest track "Good Times" which will be on their new album Sunflower. The album is planned to be released sometime in July.

Click here to check out the new song and also to sign up for a "lesson" from the band while their out on  Vans Warped Tour this summer.  It costs $40 to sign up.

I don't know what NSN is going to teach kids, hopefully it's something worth while!

Sleeping With Sirens "Alone"

Sleeping With Sirens has released their second latest song off their upcoming album Feel.

The track is called "Alone" and features rapper, MGK.

I like the song overall but MGK kind of ruins it. I feel like a lot of rockers are trying to incorporate hip hop and rap into their music like Fall Out Boy for example.

Feel  comes out June 4th and you can pre-order it right now (only in the US, UK, and Australia).

ALSO, the band is doing a Golden Ticket Contest similar to Willy Wonka.  They are putting three tickets in three random albums and whoever gets them will win a bunch of prizes. Check the link for a video made by Kellin and his mates for more details!

Relient K LP out July 2nd

The incredibly popular and well-loved band, Relient K will be releasing a new album this year!

The group has not come out with their original work since their last album Forget and Not Slow Down in 2009.

I was not aware that they had released a single from the album back in April (I must have been doing homework that month) called "Don't Blink".

Probably not in reference to Doctor Who.

The album Collapsible Lung will be out on July 2nd.
